The challenge: employing the logo three-dimensionally

The stripey motif of the bok logo features again and again in the design. Here we were required to incorporate it three-dimensionally.

The design: folds

The stripey pattern of the bok logo took on new dimension in our design for the bok restaurant in the Arcades in Düsseldorf. We designed the entire space in reference to the bok chain's corporate ID.

The walls of the bistro feature the bok colours as a folding design in a horizontal linear pattern, which seamlessly incorporates the strips of mirror, the bench and the back of the bench.

The bar provides a cool accent in the midst of the warmth of the ambience created. Its silver leaf coating reflects the light and draws the eyes of passers-by. Hanging lamps over the tables offer a warm shimmering effect and cast a multitude of reflections.

Ralf Kürbitz: 'I am always fascinated by the design potential of the bok logo. In a new variant each time, it nonetheless provides the necessary coherence.'
